There’s a good reason why Travis Barker is one of the most intense and sought after drummers in alternative rock. When Travis was behind the kit for Blink 182, his side project Boxcar Racer, or with Tim Armstrong of Rancid as the Transplants, the fire of his Aries Moon beat fast and furious! An Aries moon child needs a physical outlet for all that warrior energy, which explains why Travis never seems to rest. In all his incarnations, most recently Plus 44 with former Blink 182 bandmate Mark Hoppus, and his own belt and buckle business, Stars and Straps, Travis doesn’t allow himself to get bored.

As a Scorpio with an Aries Moon, Travis’s need for self expression is strong. His Aries Moon also gives him a fearless, sometimes reckless nature which may help explain the 50 tattoos that cover his body! His tattoos show his passion for cars and include a Cadillac logo and Travis’s favorite, a sparkplug, as well as the words “CAN I SAY” scrawled across his chest. Travis may be a deep, quiet Scorpio on the surface, but he has a way of expressing his Aries side, which is, after all, the “me” sign of the zodiac!

He is also dealing with an arm injury, but the drive he displays by learning to play a one armed set, is the same trait that will get him through tough times. At 31 years old, this is Saturn return time, known to challenge the best of us! Saturn's darkening influence on Travis's life is obvious this year, but he should be coming out the other side as of this 2006 birthday.
